The UBC Journal of Philosophical Enquiries is a student-run academic journal which publishes high-quality writing and research from undergraduate students at UBC and universities all over the world. We publish work in philosophy and other contiguous disciplines including intellectual history, literary criticism, classical studies, political science, sociology etc.

 

The journal was originally founded in 2000 as the Prolegomena and then revived again in 2019 under the current name. Our mission is not only to showcase exceptional student scholarship in the humanities and social sciences but also to give students editorial and publishing experience, as well as the opportunity to meet peers of similar passions and aspirations.
